Dear RGM Supporters, The City is planning to create a tiny homes village on Merrydale Road, in Terra Linda. This site will replace the downtown Sanctioned Camping Area and transitions it into a continuous ‘shelter to affordable housing’ program. Consider reading the Marin IJ article, “San Rafael, Marin County to provide small dwellings for homeless” published on October 15, 2025. This article gives a detailed view into the history and scope of this project. The City is planning to hold an online community meeting about the proposal on October 28th at 6pm.
