Public Comments on the Northgate Draft Environmental Impact Report Extended to March 5!

Dear RGM Supporters,

As we previously advised, the City of San Rafael released the Draft Environmental Impact Report (DEIR) for the Northgate Town Square Project on January 5th. This draft is an important first step in finalizing the Environmental Impact Report (EIR).

Public Comments Extended to March 5th

RGM discovered that many Terra Linda residents had not received the notification promised by the City announcing the release of the DEIR and the due date for public comments. Our attorney* informed the City and requested an extension of the comment period to allow all interested community members the appropriate amount of time to review the DEIR and make comments. As a result, the City has extended the date for Comments to March 5th.

Attend The Planning Commission Meeting

In addition to sending your Comments to the City, RGM urges you to attend the Planning Commission meeting regarding the DEIR on February 13th at 7pm in person, to show your support and ensure community needs are heard. A large community presence is essential to share our concerns about the Northgate Town Square project and the impacts it will have on our community for years to come.
